Work Friends is Ann Arbor's longest-running monoscene improv troupe! Born of the Ann Arbor Civic Theatre, Work Friends celebrates relationship and the comedy in the human condition in what resembles an improvised one-act play. Starting with a location, we paint the world around us and then discover in real time who's been secretly pining for who, who got written out of the will, who can talk to ghosts...who knows?! We've recently gathered in such spaces as a cranberry bog, a yacht, and Hell itself!

Flava Flavor Flavour is a Chicago-based improv team who came together to add some seasoning to the world of improv. They use a fast pace style that mixes short and long-form improv to make the audience part of the show.

With their own original games, their own style, and undeniable chemistry, expect everything. From an improvised Denzel Washington panel to pun games set to 90s R&B, this is the flava you didn't know you were missing.

Since 2016, Central Kentucky Improv has been making audiences laugh throughout the Bluegrass and beyond. Our teams have traveled across the country to perform at some of the most prestigious improv festivals, including the legendary Del Close Marathon in New York City, the Atlanta Improv Festival, the Cincinnati Improv Festival, the Damn Good Improv Festival in Louisville, and the Asheville Improv Comedy Fest.

Closer to home, we perform monthly at Al's Bar, where we bring the laughs to Lexington on a regular basis. You can also catch us popping up at other local venues, spreading joy, sharing a laugh, and proving that Kentucky has a thriving improv scene!

Scooter Doober is an improv duo based in Columbus, Ohio. Using no traditional form, Dylan Liptak and Noah Bukowski, prefer to follow the fun. They kindly welcome you, and your loved ones on their weird journey that usually ends with them kissing mouths. Scoober Doober is relatively new as a team but combined have hundreds of stage performances. In early 2026 they were finalists for Columbus’ Dual Duel competition held at The Nest Theatre, where they placed Second. Scoober Doober is proud to be inclusive to the disability community in comedy.

Psychopomp is a Columbus, Ohio improv team bringing the feel of a classic sitcom to the stage. Starting with a suggestion, the team creates your favorite episode in real time while the audience provides the laugh track, oohs, and awws. Rooted in narrative longform and centered on relationships and emotion, Psychopomp invites audiences to sit back, laugh, and enjoy an authentic sitcom experience unfolding live. Expect memorable characters, heartfelt moments, dilemmas, heartthrobs, and all the twists you’d expect from your favorite show.

Caleb Robinson formed Holy Cannoli in 2024 to give performers across a spectrum of experience levels an opportunity to participate in the Queen City Cup. Underdogs competing against more seasoned teens, the Cannolis upset all expectations by claiming the cup. They capped off their run at the Cup with a 24-hour improv marathon that sealed their victory and raised a lot of money for charity. The team is still coached by Caleb, and under their guidance, they have remained committed to their original goal of creating performance opportunities for improvisers with a range of experience levels

Hot Mic hails from Cincinnati, Ohio at Improv Cincinnati. We craft high-quality performances that combine long form improv, short form improv, music, playing, singing, dancing, acting, and more. We support each other inside and outside of scenes by contributing to a safe, positive space and assuming good intentions. We act as good stewards for our Spheres of Influence which include the members of Hot Mic, our fans and audiences and the greater improv community.

The Local Strays are a Cincinnati-based improv troupe whose players bring a wide range of comedic instincts to the stage, from sharp observational wit to quiet, deadpan restraint. Rather than smoothing out those differences, the ensemble leans into them, building scenes that feel specific, grounded, and a little unpredictable. Whatever the game or the night, they share one throughline: honest characters, real stakes, and the belief that the funniest moments come from truth, not mugging for a laugh.

BAK is an improv trio from Cincinnati creating character-driven comedy where the laughs come from people who genuinely enjoy being around each other. Our long-form scenes follow fully realized characters whose relationships deepen, evolve, and occasionally spiral into beautifully messy comedy. We love stories with heart, heightened personalities, surprising turns, and just enough chaos to keep everyone guessing. Whether we’re lifelong besties, unlikely collaborators, or three weirdos figuring it out together, BAK finds the funny in connection and brings each story to a satisfying, feel-good finish.

Joyride Comedy is a women-led nonprofit dedicated to amplifying women's voices in comedy through performance, instruction, and community partnerships. Created by Joyrider Annie Clarf, Escaping the Algorithm shows us improvised TikToks/YouTube Videos/Instagram Reels, and what happens to those characters when the ring lights are off...

Corene Ford and Amy Phillips have been improvising together in and around Detroit since 2014. While they met midlife, their souls tell them they have really known each other since elementary school. They have each other’s back on and off the stage. Their improv can go from the sentimental to sexy and everywhere in between. They perform a modified close quarters, which involves three separate scenes all happening at the same point in time in the same location.

When LA meets New York… two Cincinnati natives who followed different paths have reunited where it all began. After studying theater at SCPA, one headed west to Los Angeles while the other took the New York route. Now they’re back in Cincinnati, bringing a cavalcade of characters to life in a completely original 2-person, 3-character, 1-act improv/theater experience.

It’s fast, weird, character-driven, and served fresh. Two performers. Three characters. One deliciously dysfunctional slice of theater.

Crash Course is Cincinnati’s premier Harold team, bringing a wild ride of big characters, bold choices, and unpredictable comedy to the stage. Drawing inspiration from real-life stories, they make everyday moments feel larger than life. Crash Course has performed together for four years, creating witty, cerebral, and collaborative scenes, exploring new worlds, and tying everything together with a laugh. Buckle up.

Scissor Set is a Cincinnati based improv comedy duo featuring Amanda Monyhan and Dylan Shelton. Since 2019 they have shared a sly dynamic and an arsenal of strong characters (who are just doing their best) under the most ridiculous of circumstances. Their style is quick, outrageous and authentic.

We're the quick thinking trope known as Spitfire! We’re born and raised in Cincinnati, but occasionally travel to other improv festivals. We like to entertain people all around with short form improv! We do all types of games to keep the audience on their toes and have them keep guessing what will come next! We might go out into the audience and ask them to join us for some hilarious games! So get ready for some high energy action!

Meeple Syrup from Cincinnati, OH is an all-women long form team playing the unique format The Game of Life. Players create secret ambitions, life goals, and sometimes not-so-real-world situations based on the cards they’re dealt. The narrative snowballs into a momentous finale where chaos ensues and character arcs collide. Known for their sharp ensemble work and playful chemistry, Meeple Syrup delivers smart, character-driven long-form improv that's as inventive as it is hilarious.

Since 2019, Cincinnati-based War Candy has been throwing ourselves headfirst into the wonderful chaos of improv. As Improv Cincinnati’s longest-running house team, we’ve experimented with long forms, characters, concepts, and just about anything else we could convince ourselves was a good idea. Along the way, we’ve performed at festivals including iO Fest, Detroit Improv Festival (DIF), Columbus Comedy Festival (CCF), and in the before-times IF Cincy. We don’t have a single style, and that’s kind of the point. War Candy looks to make every show an explosively sweet experience!
